Sol Nacer - Misak Song
‘Pishimisak’ is the Misak spirit of their sacred territory, an important guide to living harmoniously with nature. This video was a collaboration between Mikey Watts from LifeMosaic and the Misak band Sol Nacer from the high village of Piendamo Arriba in Guambia. Their village is close to the paramo, or high moorland, sacred to the Misak. The video portrays day to day Misak life, their connection to their territory while also showcasing the band itself.
