Papua memiliki kekayaan alam dan budaya sangat besar. Sayangnya, hak masyarakat adat yang sebagian besar mendiami kawasan ini terabaikan. Hak-hak mereka diambil paksa, termasuk dalam pengelolaan hutan dan sumber daya alam lain. Untuk itu, penting penguatan hak mereka, salah satu melalui pemetaan wilayah partisipatif.
