The total population of Trinidad and Tobago is 1.1 million and there is no official census category for indigenous people of Amerindian descent. Estimates range from as few as 12,000 in north-east Trinidad, to as many as 400,000 indigenous people nationwide.
Environment TOBAGO TOBAGO
Environment TOBAGO is committed to the protection and restoration of Tobago's fragile environment. It is a pro-active advocacy group that campaigns against negative environmental activities throughout Tobago. Environment TOBAGO has embarked on an educational project on climate adaptation with rural communities in Tobago and has used ‘Fever’ as a part of their training.
