A Chance to Speak, A Chance to

A Chance to Speak, a Chance to Listen (English) from LifeMosaic on Vimeo.
Indigenous peoples contribute very little to the underlying
causes of climate change. Instead they have a lot to offer
humanity at this time, because of their sustainable lifestyles,
their traditional knowledge, and their deep connection to
the forests and the earth. Many have witnessed first hand
the unsustainable development of largescale developments
destroying their ancestral lands. Many are now being severely
impacted by erratic weather, flooding and drought.
In this short film, indigenous peoples from a variety of
tribal and indigenous groups across Indonesia and the Philippines
offer their messages to policy makers at the UN Climate
Change Conference in Copenhagen (COP 15) in December 2009.
